FIRST Technical Challenge
The FIRST Technical Challenge, FTC, is a format of robotics competition for all elligible students in grades 7-12.
Rules may change from season to season but the general restrictions for robots competing in FTC are:
- a maximium size of 18”x18”x18”, or 18 cu in
- electrical restrictions to Commercial-off-the-shelf parts from approved vendors, most prominently GoBilda, REV, AndyMark and ???
- 12 V electrical system
- part count restrictions for motors, servos, sensors and actuators
- Blocks or Java programming
